Tulipa is a beautiful, feminine 1950s style dress with a wide, flowing skirt, kimono collar, and narrow waist. It features short, extended sleeves, a wide waistband, large patch pockets, and an overlapping front skirt.
The wrap-look bodice is lined. Tulipa can be sewn with a side zipper or a front-buttoned waistband. For more flexibility in the waist, the back waistband can be shirred, allowing it to stretch when sitting.
