Description
With this pattern, you can sew a warming shawl collar. Since it’s very quick to make, it’s also perfect as a last-minute gift.
Sizes: The pattern is one-size and fits both adults and children from around 10 years old.
Fabric Recommendation: Any soft, stretchy fabrics are suitable, such as wool fabrics, fleece, sweatshirt fabric, cotton jersey, knit fabrics, teddy, etc. These can also be combined for both the inner and outer sides of the collar.
Required Fabric Amount
- For a fabric width up to 1.45m:
2 pieces measuring 75cm wide x 25cm high or 75cm wide x 50cm high. - For a fabric width of 1.50m or more:
150cm wide x 25cm high.
Required Materials
- Fabric (see above)
- 2 pairs of snap fasteners or Kam Snaps.
- Adhesive tape for assembling the pattern
- Scissors, measuring tape, pins, or clips
- Sewing machine, serger/coverlock machine (if available), iron
