FABRIC RECOMMENDATION
Suitable fabrics include all soft, non-stretch materials such as viscose, muslin, satin, viscose-linen, linen cotton fabrics, silk, voile, poplin, etc.

DESCRIPTION
Baru is a beautifully flowing maxi skirt designed for non-stretch fabrics. The waistband sits at the waist, and the skirt falls in a bell shape with soft folds. The front and back pieces can be cut on the fold or as two separate pieces – cutting them with a center seam adds to its beautiful drape. The pattern includes optional patch pockets. The skirt length, including the waistband, is 90cm according to the pattern, but it can be shortened or lengthened according to your preference. Baru can be made from lightweight non-stretch fabrics such as linen, viscose-linen, muslin, satin, cotton, poplin, etc., and its drape may vary slightly depending on the fabric texture. Paired with a shirt, sweater, pullover, or blazer, it becomes a versatile and stylish piece for all seasons.
